Fascist In Congress: Netanyahu’s Visit to Washington DC

NETANYAHU

Last week the most racist, tyrannical, and ruthless man of modern times took a trip to Washington to speak before congress.

This visit wasn’t at the behest of the president, but instead by invite from Republican House Speaker John Boehner — an invite many are seeing as unconstitutional as he didn’t consult the president of the visit beforehand. Instead, he asked the visitor to keep his arrival a secret from the American president.

His name: Benjamin Netanyahu. His job: prime minister of Israel. His objective: convince Americans to negate from working with Iran on a nuclear program as he claims it would lead to them obtaining a nuclear weapon that would be used on Israel.

Where does Netanyahu get this claim?

While he was making his speech, Secretary of State John Kerry was in Switzerland discussing a secret deal with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif that would contractually obligate Iran to work with the US for the next decade on their nuclear program in exchange for relief on some of the heavy sanctions laid against the republic.

This, predictably, was to the chagrin of Israeli officials, and Netanyahu took it upon himself to act as “an emissary to all Jewish-Israelis.”

Netanyahu wants heavier sanctions, heavier restrictions, heavier demonization of the only untouched superpower in the Middle East, and even war. Picture Iran as the last puzzle piece to destroy. This is the right-wing outlook of the Israeli regime.

In his 40-minute speech Tuesday, which received multiple standing ovations from the US’s staunch Israel supporting Republican congress, Netanyahu expressed his contempt for this deal, his contempt for Iran, and his unwavering ability to boldly lie through his teeth in front of the whole planet.

According to Bibi — as he is called by those who know him — Iran needs stricter sanctions. His claims included statements hypothesizing the missile program would also lead directly to a nuclear attack on America as well. This claim though, according to former chief of Israel’s Mossad spy agency, Meir Daganis an impossible lie.

Dagan said plainly that no matter what happens, “the missiles cannot reach the U.S.” This is because of America’s vast interception system set up almost worldwide.

Dagan also took exception to Netanyahu’s comments on Israel being “able to defend itself,” seeing the comment more as a “threat of attack” to Iran than a self defence. He should know, as he himself has worked on secret missions that involved attacks from Israel on Iran’s nuclear scientists, as well as other means of violence and cyberwar.

“Dagan directed the Mossad from 2002 to 2010, a period when it reportedly carried out covert attacks against Iranian nuclear scientists and unleashed cyberattacks that delayed Iran’s progression toward a bomb.” —Washington Post.

Another comment that has caused controversy was Bibi’s claim that Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, had recently tweeted that he seeks the annihilation of Israel from the map. This comment was construed to make it look like the Islamic Republic’s leader was outright speaking of a violent aggression, but a little research shows this allegation to be exaggerated and false.

“The only means of bringing Israel’s crimes to an end is the elimination of this regime, and of course the elimination of Israel does not mean the massacre of the Jewish people in this region. The Islamic Republic [Iran} has proposed a practical and logical mechanism for this to the international community.” —Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, quote via Shocking News.

How does the Ayatollah explain this mechanism? Does he call for bloody war and murder in the streets, like Israel does when it comes to any Muslim population near them, and also like Netanyahu claims the Ayatollah is calling for? No, instead the Ayatollah seeks to end the state of Israel through democratic means.

In his opinion, a referendum should be held in which only the original Arab inhabitants to the holy land can vote on a new government to represent it, removing Israel from the map as quick as it was added back in the late 40’s and once again designating the area under its original name: Palestine. He doesn’t think any “new” citizens of Israel should be allowed to take part in such a vote, as they are, in his opinion, foreigners to an occupied land who have their own countries in which they came, and therefore should have no say in what happens to the land they’ve taken as their own — in many cases taking the actual houses of Palestinians who were terrorized into fleeing by the Zionist regime. Far from a blood bath, or a genocide, or a declaration of war. This proposition, while maybe not the best way of going about fixing the Palestinian problem, is as diplomatic and pragmatic as it gets.

But that’s not what Israel’s prime minister and his almost total supporters in the US congress — most of whom are dual US/Israeli citizens — would have you believe. They have been openly calling for an Iranian invasion for decades to the ears of anyone who will listen, while using the age-old argument that if they make Iran look like the aggressor, they can easily launch a massive attack to take over the Islamic Republic as they did and continue to do in Palestine to this day, as Israeli lobbyist, Patrick Lawson, spelled out for the Washington Institute of Near East Policy a couple years back.

Many critics have been pointing out the rhetoric in Netanyahu’s words. As far as it sits right now, despite Bibi’s assertions and fear mongering, Iran hasn’t been able to produce a nuclear weapon in 20-years, and the international intelligence community is in universal agreement that Iran dropped its nuclear program years ago. The only person perpetuating this lie is the same man who has been the proponent — and cause — for every invasion in the Middle East in modern times: Benjamin Netanyahu — the most dangerous man to both the Jewish and Islamic faiths, if not the entire planet.
